Granny Palin

I started my new serving job at Cleo’s on Armitage tonight. Halloween! So, in a last minute raid of my closet I came up with this costume… It’s a “concept” piece. I was Sarah Palin’s great grandmother, returned from the dead to vote for Barack Obama! Get it?! I thought it was rather brilliant and hilarious. I wore my “granny shawl” a tattered old black dress, shredded stockings and my Obama pin. No one got it until I explained it but it was a great conversation starter. I like to be a zombie for Halloween whenever possible…

Back story: I rode my dog-sled all the way from Alaska to be in Chicago for the upcoming election night rally. Incidentally, a deranged off-path dog-sledder is also what killed me.
